Can you tell me a bit about yourself and what motivates you?

I am passionate about education and school improvement. I am motivated by innovative and engaging ideas and I love working alongside a range of people/ schools in different contexts.

What is your educational experience and key qualifications?

My educational experience include: 

  • Deputy headteacher
  • KS2 Literacy Lead
  • Previous SLE for the teaching of reading
  • NPQSL (closing the gap, boys reading)
  • NPQLT (National Professional Qualification in Leading - Teaching facilitator)

What are your educational specialisms?

My specialism includes:

  • Teaching of reading / literacy as a whole
  • Subject leadership
  • Developing middle/ senior leaders.

What do you enjoy most about working in education?

Having the opportunity to champion children, from all walks of life. As well as the opportunity to inspire and engage.

What do you like doing outside of work?

Outside of work I love to spend time with my family (my husband, and our 2 year old daughter and our dog!)
