Can you tell me a bit about yourself and what motivates you?

I love to motivate, encourage, and inspire practitioners. Driven by developing and nurturing children to be the best they can be. Making teaching and learning simple and fun!

What is your educational experience and key qualifications?

My education experience include; PGCE, masters in Education and SLE with literacy focus. I also have a DHT which focuses on Upper KS2, reading and writing. I am also a behaviour leader.

What are your educational specialisms?

I specialise in KS2 Literacy – reading and writing. I also manage ‘challenging’ behaviour and focus on de-escalation strategies.

What do you enjoy most about working in education?

What I enjoy the most about working in education is the buzz of a ‘lightbulb’ moment – whether it be with children or practitioners.

What do you like doing outside of work?

Outside of work I love cooking, gardening. I am also a mum to 2 young boys!
