About this course

Inspired to Lead is a powerful two-day programme that will equip you to lead effectively and bring about sustained, transformational change.

Drawing on the experience of outstanding Senior Leaders, Headteachers and Business Leaders, Inspired to Lead will enable you to overcome the barriers and challenges you face to ensure that you will achieve your goals.

We explore the key skills and attributes of leadership, including communication, team-building and motivation. This programme will help you to:

  • Bring about positive change and overcome the barriers to leading a successful school.
  • Consider how to ensure others work for and with you to achieve your vision by creating a team that it positive and empowered.
  • Understand a variety of proven leadership models and approaches.
  • Discover your natural leadership style and explore how to adapt and communicate effectively in different situations.
  • Consider how best to delegate leadership throughout your team and build your leadership capacity and vision.
  • improve the performance of staff in your school

The course is based on the principle of creating leaders at every level and is suitable for all Headteachers, Deputies, Assistant Headteachers, Middle Leaders, and those aspiring to leadership positions.  

The programme runs over two non-consecutive days, with a gap in between. This allows time to apply the new ideas from day one in your own school, and bring your experiences to the second day of the course.

DAY 1 OBJECTIVES INCLUDE:

COVID-19 update:

Please note all of our CPD courses are going ahead. Where possible, these will take place at the venue(s) below. However, we may deliver the training via live webinar instead, giving  teachers and leaders the ability to interact with the trainer and course without the need to attend the venue.  Even better, if we live-stream your course, a recording of the course will be available for you to view for one month after the course date, meaning you can enjoy the course anywhere, any time, even if your plans change at short notice.
