Your School and the New Ofsted Inspection Framework

“We’re in the inspection window” or “we’re due an inspection” – common phrases that tell us when we are ‘due’, but what can we effectively do next? This INSET day takes you through our path to success, demonstrating how you can effectively prepare staff, pupils, governors and parents for the next inspection – so you can, collectively, give the best possible impression of your school, demonstrating the impact you have had on pupil development and education outcomes. Our INSET days are available in-school, via livestream, or delivered with a blend of an on-demand recorded training course (of your choice) followed by time with our consultant in person or via a live link.

  • Be prepared for your next inspection
  • Demonstrate the best aspects of your school
  • Practical and informative

About this INSET

This is a practical, experience and research-based INSET day, aimed at giving you effective strategies to lead your team and prepare your school for the next inspection – whether that is in a few weeks or a few months. We will cover:

  • Effective monitoring strategies – and how to compile compelling evidence
  • Leading and managing staff; stress, anxiety, communication and challenging conversations
  • Sharing the vision; linking SDP, IDSR, vision and values, previous inspection outcomes – and how all stakeholders can share your story
  • What to do now, what to do next
  • Understanding the inspection framework
  • Good practice, and responses to inspection, from schools supported by TT Education

You will end the day with a range of practical and applicable strategies to help you lead your whole team towards the next inspection. We will help you develop ways to empower, inform and encourage your team to give their best – and tell the compelling story of your school’s progress.

This course is appropriate for primary and secondary schools.
