The face of education and the approaches we use when teaching are constantly changing. Approaches to the teaching and learning of reading skills are no different. Many schools are moving away from guided reading approaches and more towards whole class teaching of reading skills.

About this course

Reading can be viewed as a real cornerstone of a child’s education and a key to their success in life-long learning. It is a skill that every child needs to develop and master in order to be able to access the steps in their learning journey. Therefore it is down to us as educators to give children the skills they need to have the best chance possible to succeed. This training will:
