Fully updated with the latest information for schools, our popular SATs ‘Head Start’ workshops are back! This course will help you prepare your children for the tests’ return in summer 2022. This half-day workshop-style course will:

  • help you to reflect on the 2019 KS2 Reading SATs papers
  • analyse question structures, expectations and potential barriers
  • explore the main requirements: comprehension skills like retrieval, inference, prediction, summary, and evaluation of effect and ‘authorial craft’
  • introduce a range of practical and effective strategies for the classroom
