Achieving Excellence in Remote Learning (2-Part Series)

2020 was a dramatic year in the history of education, and one of its biggest legacies will surely be the huge development in remote learning. Whilst of particular importance during the COVID era, remote learning is unlikely to disappear as a feature of education in the future. About this course

Part 1: Structuring Learning for Impact

The government says remote education should be a “transfer” of what we know about good pedagogy in the classroom. This short course provides an engaging, practical and meaningful exploration of what that means, linking research and guidance with current best practice around the UK. By watching this course you will:

  • Understand exactly what is required of your school
  • Explore best-practice methods and strategies for remote learning
  • Apply and extend in-class pedagogical theory and practice, to see how it might work remotely

Part 2: Taking Learning Further

  • Explore how to engage children without losing sight of curriculum needs
