PSHE was set to become part-statutory in September 2020, but that change was pushed back a year because of Covid. How prepared is your school for the new requirements in September 2021? How can you meet these legal obligations without diverting energy and focus from the other things that matter?
This course will take you through the new rules, put them into an Ofsted context, and explain how to formalise your existing provision in a more appropriate way. It will also provide you with all the information you need to know to create a purposeful SRE / relationships education policy and bring your PSHE curriculum up-to-date.
By attending this course you will better understand the four elements of PSHE:
Raising Attainment in PSHE is also available in a modular structure for school-based CPD training, allowing you to pick whichever PSHE elements are most useful to you. Choose from:
"Full of practical ideas delivered with enthusiasm from someone who clearly knows exactly what they're talking about. So much food for thought!"
Caroline Sharma, Year 6 Teacher, Thomas's London Day School
"A relevant and useful session on how to promote PSHE within schools, whilst fitting into Ofsted's framework and the context of our school."
Ruth Munglani, PSHE Coordinator, St Stephen's Primary School
