In September 2020 schools will have to teach two new compulsory subjects: Relationships Education and Health Education. Are you ready for these compulsory elements of PSHE? This engaging, one-day CPD course tells you all you need to know about the changes, and looks at the non-statutory areas of PSHE too. It also investigates ways to use this vital subject as a foundation for a ‘broad and balanced’ curriculum.
By attending the course you will better understand the four elements of PSHE:
Raising Attainment in PSHE is also available in a modular structure for school-based CPD training, allowing you to pick whichever PSHE elements are most useful to you. Choose from:
"Full of practical ideas delivered with enthusiasm from someone who clearly knows exactly what they're talking about. So much food for thought!"
Caroline Sharma, Year 6 Teacher, Thomas's London Day School
"A relevant and useful session on how to promote PSHE within schools, whilst fitting into Ofsted's framework and the context of our school."
Ruth Munglani, PSHE Coordinator, St Stephen's Primary School
Please note all of our CPD courses are going ahead. Where possible, these will take place at the venue(s) below. However, we may deliver the training via live webinar instead, giving teachers and leaders the ability to interact with the trainer and course without the need to attend the venue. Even better, if we live-stream your course, a recording of the course will be available for you to view for one month after the course date, meaning you can enjoy the course anywhere, any time, even if your plans change at short notice.
At TT Education we aim to provide you with the outstanding training experience you deserve, from the fantastic resources you receive to the beautiful venues we hold our training in, with lunch and refreshments included.
Please note that the exact venues used in each town or city are subject to change. We will send a Welcome Email approximately 7 days before the date of the course, confirming the venue.
Our in-service training provides exciting and dynamic ways to inspire, challenge and develop your staff, whether they are Teaching Assistants, Teachers or Senior Leadership.
Your first point of contact would be with our Head Office team, who will identify your needs and priorities and ensure that the accompanying training materials we provide are of the very best quality.
